february wrap-up

This month has been fast, and not very busy for the kids.  We’ve spent most days home watching the olympics and at school/work.  We did have a few small occasions, valentines day and some sick days but generally not too much going on here.  Maybe as the weather gets better, we can get out a bit more!

Valentine Cupcakes, shirts, and cards.

Hank has an obsession with buttons.  He would turn his oxygen on and off all day if he could!

I’ve been re-learning crochet.  Thanks to my kitties for being models

Drew’s sick week.  Had a double eye infection.  We had to put ointment in three times a day.  Lucky us, three times a day for about 5 days, he claimed he couldn’t see (he wouldn’t open his eyes), and laid quietly on the couch for 20 minutes “relaxing”.

another insta-update

January has been a busy month.  Not a lot of time to get the camera out but still so much going on.

Hank’s first night in a hotel.  Can you believe it?  When Drew was this age he had stayed many nights in many hotels.

I was never going to get my boys matching outfits, but I’ll admit, I can’t help myself.

Another dreaded Cardiology Appointment.

We found out that Hank’s pacemaker battery is only going to last a little over a year.  That means, in about 3 months we will start monthly phone transmissions to make sure we have reached the “end of life” on the battery.  Oh joy.

saying goodbye (and hello)

Don’t funerals have a way of bringing family all together.  Everyone comes to say goodbye to someone, then they remember all the great family they have.  My Grandma Betty (my Dad’s mom) passed away a few weeks ago and joined my Grandpa.  We went to Salt Lake and attended the services.  Tons of pictures here.. apologies.

So happy to meet Mama’s cousin Betty
