Park Hoppin’
We have been out exploring all the parks in Logan. We did discover this park, along with Nick and Emily (Matt was asleep in the car with his Dad). What a fun place for a hot day.
The splash pad was a hit. Next time, Emily will come in her swimsuit.
We also like to visit the Whittier Park. It’s perfect for Drew, and not too crowded.
(Drew hates the swing. We will keep trying.)
After the park it’s always nice to just relax.

Afternoon at the park
Today, Drew got to go to the park with his cousins. We had a picnic dinner, and then got to watch Nick’s baseball game. I didn’t get any shots of Nick during his game, but I will next time!
Fun cousins!
Another project finished
Well, I have been trying to get this project finished for a long time. With lots of help from Steve, I finally did. It’s just too bad that Drew really doesn’t eat in a high-chair anymore.

It’s finally here
I think summer has come to Logan.
Finally…
my plants are starting to flourish
I have put out my bird feeders
we get to play outside all day if we want
summer sandals are appropriate
we can plant the garden, and play in the dirt
it’s warm enough to run through the sprinklers.
We couldn’t be happier!

Leftovers?
Quick story.
Leslie (my sister) had free coupons for this gem,
So we joined her family and my dad for a quick dinner. There were no french fries in the buffet so the cook whipped some up for our table and delivered them fresh in a lovely basket. How kind.
Well, I guess this lady really wanted some fries, and came to our table to fetch some. Mind you, before she had her hands on them (I thought she may grab some and run), she did ask to take a few because she thought the 9 of us wouldn't want them all. After a few strange looks and questioning words, she left empty handed. No we did not give her our "leftovers."
Weird.

Cabin Trip #2
It is cabin season. We try to get there as much as possible. Last week, everyone was there (minus Nate).
Sandbox
Fishing
Sewing and Gardening
I really haven’t had much time for sewing or gardening yet this summer. I have tried. But, I saw this idea, and thought what a fun project.
Mind you, the terrarium I made for Lori may not look like these (pictures from Manhattan Craft Room)
but, it sure is cute, don’t you think?
I especially like the three little skunks. My mom mentioned they were like three sisters.
I wonder what she is implying by that?
