We had a birthday party for the boys the day after their birthday.  It was a kid themed birthday even though most of the guests were adults.  We ate Hank’s and Drew’s favorite foods, mac and cheese and chicken nuggets, played games, and had cake.  We had a good time and really appreciated everyone coming and celebrating with us.

Cake time.  Hank got his own little personal cake for his 1 year birthday, then we had a regular cake for everyone.  Drew got to blow all the candles out, since Hank couldn’t blow his out.

Another year past.  That seemed like it went so fast.  It’s amazing to think we made it here.  What a ride.

Well, it has finally been a year since our last birthdays!  Yesterday Drew turned 3 years old, and Hank turned 1 year old.  It’s hard to believe.

Disneyland Adventure Part 4

We saw so many characters while we were there, which was  hands down Drew’s favorite thing from the whole trip (right behind was the little mermaid ride, and no, I’m not kidding).  

He saw Mater, Lightning, and Big Red, twice!

Disneyland Adventure Part 3

For this trip, we stayed at The Disneyland Hotel.  Drew had a lot of fun at the pool.  Steve swam with Drew and let me read in the sun. 

Drew had his own big bed, and loved it.  He slept good every night, and enjoyed sleeping with Lightning and Woody. 

Since it was almost Drew’s birthday, we celebrated at a character breakfast at the hotel.  Drew enjoyed the song that the staff sang to him and his cupcake. 

Every time we passed the Lego store on our way to and from our Hotel, Drew had to say hi to his buddies Woody and Buzz. 

Disney Adventure Part 2

Drew really enjoyed the little Wilderness Explorer Playground and played there for quite a while.  He even got to meet Dug from Up. 

Watching a Pixar parade with daddy at California Adventure.  He even got to see Buzz Lightyear (his favorite).

Cars land.  Such a fun place to visit. 

Drew liked the tire ride with Mom and Dad.  Dad did all the work though.  Drew was too small to go on the new “big” ride, so Steve and I each went as single riders to try it out.  Was definitely a fun ride, probably not worth the huge wait though.  (We didn’t have to wait, the single line goes fast).  Can you see Steve waving at us?
