I took these pictures for a friend of mine and a project she’s working on. Hank sat still in exchange for cookies.
Mr. Hank has been doing pretty good lately. He’s still loving his oxygen. Maybe someday, his little body will decide that it doesn’t want it anymore and kick into gear. I keep thinking that maybe his ASD is keeping him on oxygen this long? Oh well, I guess we can wait until they have to fix the ASD (if it doesn’t fix on it’s own). It would be great to have a good explanation why he is still on O’s. Someday…
He has started back up with his Early Intervention crew. He has bi-monthly appointments with a speech therapist. Hank scored in the 1st and 2nd percentile for speech and language testing (which means he is “very severly delayed”). He is just a quiet boy. Sometimes, I forget he’s even in a room with me he’s so quite. He communicates in other ways though, believe me. I’m excited to see how his therapy goes. We’ll see where it takes us.
No worries though, he’s keeping up with his other developmental milestones, including height and weight. He made it onto the actual growth chart for his 18 month appointment (not his adjusted chart which would be ~16 months). What a rock star!
