It is cabin season. We try to get there as much as possible. Last week, everyone was there (minus Nate).

I really haven’t had much time for sewing or gardening yet this summer. I have tried. But, I saw this idea, and thought what a fun project.
Mind you, the terrarium I made for Lori may not look like these (pictures from Manhattan Craft Room)
but, it sure is cute, don’t you think?
I especially like the three little skunks. My mom mentioned they were like three sisters.
I wonder what she is implying by that?
I’ve had a lot of extra help around here lately. And no, I am not talking about Steve.
Helping with dishes is a favorite.
He’s slowing catching onto the laundry. Maybe he will be able to do his own soon?
I always needs lots of help with the sweeping after lunch.
Drew helps to comb his hair everyday.
Since Drew has learned to turn on the bath water, I get lots of help spreading water all around my bathroom.
No, we haven’t even thought about potty training yet, but we sure do love to use up all the toilet paper.
Afterwards, it’s fun to cuddle with big bear.
It’s finally cabin season again. We had a fun weekend last, visiting the cabin with Lori and her girls, and my parents. It was a tad cold, but not bad for this time of year. Can’t wait to spend more time there.
Lucky Olivia and Abby. They get to spend their entire summer up north. We will just have to visit them a lot.
The lake is not quite full yet, but everyone still enjoyed it.
Abby taught Drew how to throw rocks in the water. Much more fun than eating them.
I think Abby and Drew’s favorite was the wagon rides from Grandpa. Guess we might be ready for a wagon.
Grandpa pulled those babies really fast.
They had so much fun.
Yesterday, I had the day off, so Drew and I spent the morning reviewing bugs with his new bug puzzle from his fun cousins, Brady and Jayda.
But, instead of crawling through the grass, like he should enjoy, Drew took shelter on top of mom. He really did not like the grass. I sure hope that will change soon.
(please ignore the old hag with garden gloves in the picture. thanks steve for the great photo of me.)
So, no bugs.
But at least we were able to enjoy the sunshine!
Enjoyed by all!
