Well, it's official! Steve has now been bitten by 4 different yellow jackets (5 bites total).

June Happenings

Lori and Olivia had a chance to come out to Utah and visit for Grandpa's funeral. For the 10 days they were here, we stayed in a hotel in Salt Lake, played at home, and got to go to the cabin. It was a fun time...

Pennsylvania Play

About 2 weeks ago, Steve and I got to go visit my sister Lori, her husband Nate, and their daughter Olivia in Pennsylvania. We had so much fun in the beautiful Pennsylvania landscape. We got to go yurting in the Ohiopyle State Park, strawberry picking, and had a great time just playing. We also got to go visit Frank Lloyd Wright's famous residence Fallingwater, which was awesome. These are the bunks in the yurt. The yurt was actually a lot bigger than I expected... it had 2 bunks, a table with 4 chairs, a bench, a fridge, microwave, and a stove built in the countertop. It was a really fun experience.

A day of swimming in State College

We got to go to the Way Fruit Farm and pick some yummy strawberries! Olivia was great at picking the best berries.

Soccer Games, Birthday Parties, and Funny Faces

Nick had a soccer game on his birthday. He is a really good soccer player and scored quite a few goals.

Matt is also learning to play soccer.

Nick just had his 6th birthday party. We had so much fun at his party, thanks for inviting us Nick!

Spring Time -- Finally!

Well, I think spring finally made it here to Cache Valley.

This all started when my lovely sister introduced me to the art of knitting (thanks Lori). I am by far, a lot worse at it than her, but am learning. My favorite thing to knit is purses, but I am broadening my horizons and trying new things. I'm always looking for new fun patterns to eventually try, so if you have any let me know. My favorite material is wool!

Christmas 2008

For Christmas, my parents treated everyone to a vacation to Florida.
We had a good trip. It was nice to get away after the big move into
our house and also away from the cold weather.
