Man, we have gotten very busy again (maybe it never stopped).  I don’t even know the last time I got out my camera (besides today).  Busy busy times.

What has Drew been up to?

He is staying busy busy in his school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and tumbling class on Wednesdays.  Thank heavens for his teachers that help us work through his “stuff” that has been going on since little Hank came around.  We have learned that his favorite show as of late is America’s Funniest Home Videos or “AFV” as he says.  He can’t wait for Santa to come either.  How fun for him to understand that this year.  You can find him in his room playing with his door closed, a lot.  If you ask him what he’s up to, he responds with “just chillin.”  He also feels he is getting quite big and would like to use the public restrooms by himself.  Last week, we were shopping in Target and he had to use the potty.  I went to take him in the women’s restroom with me, and he had a fit.  The entire time we were in the busy restroom, he screamed, “I am not a woman, I am a man, I am a man.”  Entertaining.

Hank is doing great.  He just finished his semester of school at the University.  He is lucky and got in again for the winter semester.  It’s been so good for him.  He has also been working with speech therapy twice a month.  It’s pretty fun to see how it is working and he is starting to really figure things out.  Some of the things he does to practice is follow commands.  He has become a pro at throwing his diaper in the garbage when told and sometimes will even do it when he’s not told.  He stands by the trash, pulls out a dirty diaper and will look at you until you tell him to throw it in the garbage.  Funny boy.  He will also give five when asked.  We are happy with his progress.  He also has been approved the the RSV shot again this year.  Thank heaven for Synagis and modern medicine.

As far as his oxygen goes, that stays about the same, always.  Steve and I think that it probably won’t change until he gets his ASD fixed, but cardiology says they don’t do that until 3-4 years old.  So, we wait.  Otherwise, his health is great.  His last pacer check last month had great numbers and he’s growing like a weed.
