Lots of improvement today. Hopefully, we keep moving in this direction!
Weight today: 1291 grams
Starting weight: 1150 grams
Weight change: 0.3 pounds (not much -- probably mostly fluid)
Oxygen requirements have been way down, in the 30 to 40% range. Way to go Hank!
Heart ECHO shows increased right ventricular function (meaning it's contracting much better). Probably get to wean the nitric oxide soon. Another plus.
Dopamine off!
Milrinone turned down.
Inflammatory/septic process resolving. Stopping antibiotics in 4 days.
Fluid coming off with lasix.
Happy for the improvements. We started off rough, so it's nice to see how far we've come in 10 days.
